Making a motor vehicle claim

Brokers and fleet managers can quickly both notify new and track existing commercial motor claims via Allianz Claims Hub.

Are you making a personal insurance claim?

If are a personal broker, please visit our personal broker claims information page.
We'll do our best to put things right.

So that we can get your claim moving quickly, please provide us with the following information when reporting a claim:

  • The driver's details, including their name, date of birth, occupation and home address.
  • Distance from the driver's home to the workplace (whether that's the main office, a branch office or a depot). If the driver works from home, state this instead.
  • The duration that the driver has held a full UK driving licence, their previous claims history, plus whether they have any previous convictions (and, if so, what they were).
  • Any medical conditions that the driver may suffer from.
  • Vehicle registration, make and model.
  • Details of any lease/financial company interest.
  • How, where and when the incident happened.
  • The nature of the damage and/or injuries.
  • Name and contact details for other people involved and witnesses (if applicable).
  • The police collision report, traffic case/crime reference number and/or name of the police officer or constabulary involved (if applicable).

Road traffic collisions must be reported to the police within 24 hours.
