The contact details of the Engineer Surveyor who conducted the examination can be found at the bottom of the report.
This can happen if there are three or more incorrect attempts to log in within a 24hr period. If you tick the box and do a password reset this will resolve the issues. If you cannot remember your username, please contact eservices@allianz.co.uk
Your Engineer Surveyor should make contact with you to arrange your inspection as they manage their own diaries; however, if you have access to your last report it will have the engineer Surveyor’s contact details on that. If you have access to our online portal, click on the InTerFACE tab, then click on the location where the item is and all the contact details for the local surveyor for each discipline are located here. If you still cannot find the correct Engineer Surveyor, utilise the Contact Us function on our website and we will respond.
Equipment & Inspections Frequently Asked Questions
The owner/operator has a duty of care to ensure all equipment is safe to use. Depending on the equipment type and the regulation it is examined under, depends on whether the item needs to be removed from service if the next inspection date has not been met. If unsure, it's always best to check with your local Engineer Surveyor who would be happy to advise on the specific regulation. Your Engineers contact details can be found on the previous inspection report.
There is no requirement to re-inspect an item but the owner/operator should retain all documented evidence to demonstrate the repair has been completed to the required standard.
The lifting beam is commonly located at the top of the lift shaft or lift motor room and is utilised in the repair of the lift running gear, as and when, required. As the beam does not form part of the elevator structure it must be considered as a separate lifting machine and inspected and reported on accordingly.
We have a full time Lift & Crane Engineer Surveyor located on Jersey and regularly transport Engineer Surveyors from the UK mainland to other offshore islands to complete thorough examinations.

Under certain regulations, we have a legal responsibility to notify the Health & Safety Executive or Local Enforcement Authority of dangerous defects. These regulations are:
- LOLER 98 (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations)
- PSSR 2000 (Pressure Systems and Safety Regulations)
- PUWER 98 REG 32 (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations)
