Working with our charity partner, Barnardo’s, we’re launching the Allianz UK Toy Appeal to provide toys and gifts to young people, who through no fault of their own, will likely go without this festive season. As a valued broker of Allianz, we’re asking for your support, if you can, to buy a gift for a child which will be given to them by one of Barnardo’s incredible services - hopefully putting a smile on their face!
Donate to the Barnardo's
Toy Appeal!
To make things simple, we’ve worked with Barnardo’s to create an Amazon Wishlist which you can use to select a gift you’d like to donate. Your order will be sent to our central ‘toy appeal hub’ where our helpers will batch the gifts up to be sent directly to the Barnardo’s centres. The Wishlist has items from £5 to £25 but every item matters and anything you can give will make a real difference.
How to donate to the Toy Appeal
1. Visit our Amazon wishlist online here or scan the QR code to view a list of pre-selected toys and games that we want to collect.
Each gift is labelled with an age-range, plus our target quantity so you can see how many we need and how many have already been purchased.

3. Proceed to checkout as you would normally, but select (FAO Toy appeal, Bournemouth) as your delivery destination.
2. Choose your gift(s) from the list and add to your basket. There's a selection of gifts between £5 and £25.
4. Buy your gift by Monday, 25 November and ensure the delivery date is before Tuesday, 26 November.
Your gift(s) will be sent straight to our Allianz office in Bournemouth, where a team of volunteers will be on hand during November to ship off our donations to Barnardo’s services, to be distributed to families.
Who and what we'll fund
As the cost-of-living crisis has deepened, families once forced to choose between feeding their children or heating their homes can now no longer afford either.
Right now:
4.3 million children are growing up in poverty in the UK.
900,000 children in poverty don’t qualify for free school meals.
7 out of 10 children living in poverty are from a working household.
More than 1 in 20 children sleep on the floor due to not having a bed of their own.

Considering the environmental impact
To make sure our generosity won’t have unintended consequences, we’ll minimise any environmental cost of the campaign by offsetting the carbon associated with the wrapping, packaging and distribution of the presents.
