Access to these services is restricted to users who have registered with us, those brokers who have an active agency agreement with us, approved third parties acting on behalf of a broker, or those policyholders who are insured by us.

Access is granted by Allianz to broker administrators who are responsible for granting access rights to the users within their organisation, or to approved third parties acting on their behalf. Allianz can access and view all material on the site including broker administration screens. You can only access sections of the site that you have been granted access to view.

Access is permitted on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Registration

To register you will need an active email address and will be asked to provide us with information about your organisation and create a password. This password should be a mixture of numerical, alphabetical and special characters. The password is personal to your account and you must treat it, and any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, as confidential, and you must not disclose this information to any third party. We have the right to disable any user account or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use. It is your responsibility to ensure that any information you provide us as part of the registration process is true and accurate. 

A broker administrator is responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our site. They are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our site on their behalf are aware of these terms, and that they comply with them. They must keep a record of any such person who has access to the site and must notify us of any non-compliance. They must delete accounts immediately of any person who has had access to the site who leaves your employment or ceases to act on your behalf. We may require them to restrict access by any persons whom we believe to have breached these terms. We reserve the right to amend or reset user account password in the event of staff leaving your employ.

Should you access any information belonging to a third party, you must immediately exit the site and notify us. You must delete any copies of such information. You do not have our authority or permission to use any of our documents or content on your own website.

Brokers and/or third parties approved by us to act on a broker’s behalf are able to access information relating to the broker’s insureds via the site acting as their agent. Such access will terminate should the broker cease to be their agent and you must notify us of such an event. We reserve the right to restrict access to any information on the site at an insured's request.

    (a) Security of User IDs, which enable you to access the Allianz Commercial Motor Information website (ACMI)
    (b)  User IDs and security data are for sole use and must never be disclosed or shared with other parties; and must be kept secure.
    (c)  Your access to the ACMI website is restricted to those members of your staff who need access to input/amend any data to meet the requirements of the Motor Vehicles (Compulsory Insurance) (Information Centre and Compensation Body) Regulations 2003 ("the Regulations") - and the wider requirements of the Motor Insurance Bureau (MIB).
    (d) That you only view, copy or otherwise process data on the ACMI website relating to your clients for purposes referred to in these terms.
  2. You will inform Allianz immediately if:
    (a)  Any breach of security or any incident that might breach security of ACMI website has occurred. Allianz may also need to inform the MIB.
    (b) You gain access to data other than that referred to in section (1)(d) above.
  3. It is your responsibility to fulfil any obligations you may have under the Regulations. If you are unable to access the ACMI website, then under the Regulations you may be obliged to provide relevant data by another means.
  4. Under the Regulations fines may be imposed for failure to provide data. Notification of such data is a condition of Allianz insurance policies and failure to notify such data may affect cover.
  5. You agree to supply accurate data in a timely fashion, making corrections where data is found to be invalid.
  6. Notification of data onto the ACMI website does not constitute proof of insurance or variation of any insurance cover or ensure that a claim will be paid.
  7. You confirm that you will give prior notification to your clients that:
    (i) Data supplied to the ACMI website may be made available via the MIB using the Motor Insurance Database (MID) to:
    (a) The police to check insurance details;
    (b) Persons with a valid claim in respect of a road traffic accident     (including citizens of other countries) and their agents;
    (c) Other insurers for handling claims incurred;
    (d) The MIB to facilitate its obligations to handle incurred claims;
    (e) Other insurers or third party organisations for the purpose of investigating and administering fraud enquiries.

    (ii) Data supplied to the ACMI website may be respectively made available to the MIB and used by Allianz for:
    (a) The purposes of making and responding to 4th EU Directive/MIB enquiries;
    (b) Testing;
    (c) Monitoring (i) the performance of the websites, (ii) the website’s users as site providers in respect of their legal obligations, (iii) usage of the websites, (iv) for planning and research purposes.

    (iii) Data supplied to the ACMI website may be made available to:
    (a) any agent of Allianz or MIB for fulfilling the purposes of these terms;
    b) The DVLA to identify potentially uninsured vehicles for the purpose of Continuous Insurance Enforcement (CIE).
  8. You agree that:
    (a) Allianz has the right to monitor all your activity on the ACMI website and to take appropriate action if security of data has been or may be compromised.
    (b) you will ensure that reasonable measures to prevent the introduction of malicious software to the ACMI website will be in place on all your servers or workstations which are connected to the ACMI website.
    (c) information security violations, loopholes and the like you discover in connection with these terms will be reported by you to Allianz immediately.
  9. Allianz will endeavour to pass data to the MID via the MID Update website. Data may be passed to and posted on the MID website exactly as submitted to the ACMI website. Data may be rejected by the ACMI website and/or MID because of validation controls.
