Howden who is a global strategic partner of Allianz and also has a specialist knowledge of the musical market through their Lark Music brand can continue to provide the same level of customer care our customers know and love from Allianz, while also providing expertise and investment into technology and distribution for the benefit of both amateur and professional musicians.
No, Allianz Musical Insurance customer’s policies will not be affected while insured with Allianz Musical Insurance. Customers will be able to review the new product terms and conditions to determine if they’re still suitable when they are invited to renew with Lark Music.
Existing policy premium is not affected as a direct result of this transition and will remain as is until the next renewal or if any mid-term adjustments are made in the meantime. Any increase or decrease in premium will be communicated at the time of the mid-term adjustment or next renewal. 
No. Any changes to policies will be notified at renewal and relevant documentation provided, until then policies remain the same.

Customers will be issued renewal invitations up to 28-days in advance of their renewal date; the first customers to receive Lark Music renewals will be those with renewal dates on or after 1st  November 2024.

If customer’s policies are due for renewal on or before 31 October 2024 then Allianz Musical Insurance will invite the renewal, and the customer will remain an Allianz Musical Insurance customer with no changes to their policy until Lark Music invite the renewal in 2025.  

Whilst insured by Allianz Musical Insurance, customers can continue to contact us in the same way to make changes to their policy. Lark Music will provide their own contact details to maintain new policies going forward as part of the renewal invitation. One of the advantages of Lark Music is they provide the ability to makes changes online if required
Don’t worry, this transition won’t have an impact on any ongoing claims with Allianz Musical Insurance and if a new claim is raised on an existing Allianz Musical Insurance policy, our claims department can be contacted in the usual way. If customers renew with Lark Music, claims can still be notified in relation to Allianz policies with the Allianz Musical claims team.
If existing Allianz communication preferences are set to receive policy documentation via email or email and post, then Lark Music will contact customers via email. If customers have set their communication preferences to receive policy documentation via post only, then Lark Music will contact customers via post.
