The Employers' Liability Tracing Office (ELTO) is an independent industry body. Its voluntary members comprise of Insurers who provide Employers' Liability insurance.
ELTO have created a central repository, the Employers' Liability Database (ELD) to store information
for claims tracing searches.

ⓘ Employer Reference Number
The ERN is the PAYE tax code given to a company as a reference number for their employees' income tax and national insurance contributions. It is commonly referred to as the 'Employer PAYE Reference' and may also be found a number of PAYE forms and documents, including P45, P60 and P11D.
