Making a claim against an Allianz policyholder

When you first contact us about damage to your vehicle while it was in the care of a garage, bodyshop or other type of motor trade business that we insure, please have these details to hand:

• The name of our policyholder and the contact details you have for them
• How, where and when the incident happened
• The nature of the damage and information about the vehicle (registration, make, model, etc.)
• The names of any witnesses and other people involved.

Use the below contact details to get in touch about:

• an injury caused at your workplace (if your employer is insured by Allianz)
• illness or injury caused by work (if your employer is insured by Allianz)
• an accident in a building or on a site that we insure
• damage, injury or illness caused by a service provided or product supplied by a business insured by Allianz
• financial loss because of the actions of a company director or other professional insured by Allianz.

Please have as much information as possible when you call us, such as:

• The name of our policyholder and the contact details you have for them
• A full description of how, where and when the incident happened
• The nature of the damage/injuries/illness/financial loss
• Hospital details and date of return to work (as applicable)
• Health and Safety Executive (HSE) reference (if applicable)
• The names of any witnesses and other people involved.
