Customers are eligible for 10% off their solar panel installation, subject to them registering for a quote through our page on to Effective Home’s website.
If your property meets the suitability criteria and is eligible for a quote then the discount will be automatically applied to your quote. For the property to be suitable you will need to be the homeowner and for it to have a pitched roof.

The performance of solar PV systems is impossible to predict with certainty due to the variability in the amount of solar radiation (sunlight) from location to location and from year to year. This estimate is based upon the standard MCS procedure is given as guidance only. It should not be considered as a guarantee of performance. The solar PV self-consumption has been calculated in accordance with the most relevant methodology for your system. There are a number of external factors that can have a significant effect on the amount of energy that will be self-consumed.

Your projected energy cost is calculated by considering a 7.0% increase in energy cost each year, due to trends in the rising cost of energy. This estimate is based on your selected preferences, current energy costs and the position and orientation of your roof to calculate the efficiency of the system. Projections are based estimated usage of 4500 kWh per year, assuming Jan2025 UK Electricity Tariff.
The savings calculations provided include Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) payments which you receive for any export of energy to the grid, subject to the utility company criteria and requirements.
