Allianz Group has released the 2019 sustainability report covering the reporting period from 01 January 2019 to 31 December 2019 and was published on 29 April 2020.
In this year’s report, there is a focus on Allianz’s commitment to long-term climate protection – both through business activities as an insurer and investor and corporate operations. Like in previous years, the report gives an overview of a wide array of topics from how ESG risks are managed and opportunities within the business, sustainable solutions, protecting customers, developing people and engaging in the community.
What’s new in this report:
In line with the findings of new materiality assessment, the structure of this report has been adjusted to focus on how Allianz governs sustainability strategically and how it is integrated across its business activities and corporate operations. New discussions of Allianz’s approach to cyber risk insurance, natural catastrophe insurance and data privacy and protection have been added.
This report is aimed at specialist sustainability audiences.
