Allianz Future Fund terms and conditions:

1. The promoter of this competition is Allianz Management Services Limited (with company number: 03947280) with registered office at 57 Ladymead, Guildford, Surrey GU1 1DB) (the “Promoter”).

2. An eligible entrant is any rugby club that fulfils all of the following:
a) based in the UK.  If you are a company or a limited liability partnership, you must have registered with Companies House;
b) registered with the relevant National Governing Body;
c) has an official bank account in the UK and registered in the rugby club's name; and

d) is acting through a duly authorised individual physical member (ie has permission from the rugby club) that is a UK resident and at least 18 years old,
("Eligible Entrants"). 

3. This competition is not open to any of the following type of organisation:
a) local authorities, including town and parish councils;
b) schools, colleges and universities;
c) commercial sport and physical activity providers, e.g. gyms;
d) leisure operators; or
e) individuals who are employed or self-employed within the sport and physical activity sector.

4. The opening date for entries is 09:00am GMT on 14 September 2024 and the closing date for entries is 11:59 GMT on 4 October 2024 (“Promotional Period”).

5. No less than 13 and no more than 80 Eligible Entrants will win a grant in amounts ranging from £500 to £3,000 per winner (a “Grant”).  The actual amount of each Grant for each winner depends on the number of valid entries received and is reflective of the total prize fund amount available being up to £50,000 for all Grants combined.

6. To enter for a chance to win a Grant, Eligible Entrants will be required to complete an application form confirming the Eligible Entrant’s eligibility and supplying the requested details about the Eligible Entrant’s funding requirements and the impact receiving a Grant would make. To enter for a chance to win the Grant, Eligible Entrants must select in the relevant section of the same application form whether they wish to be considered for the Grant  and state why the Promoter should award the Grant to that Eligible Entrant’s rugby club.

7. The Allianz Future Fund panel (which may comprise of Allianz employees that are not members of any Eligible Entrant, and members of RFU, WFU, IRFU and Scottish Rugby) shall initially shortlist entrants from all of the Eligible Entrants’ entries received by the Promoter during the Promotional Period to those for whom the panel judges that a Grant would have the most impact to help their rugby club improve.

11. Entry is free and no purchase is required.

12. Use of a false name, a false club name or a false address will result in disqualification.

13. At least one of the judges involved in the review and selection of entries will be independent of the Promoter and the full names of the judges shall be made available upon request within one month after the closing date of the competition, by contacting insert email here.

14. All employees of the Promoter, Allianz and their respective subsidiaries and associated companies, their immediate families and anyone involved in the promotion of the competition, including any printers and agents, suppliers of the Grants and any other companies associated with the Grant and/or this promotion, are excluded from entry. The Promotor knows that Allianz employees could be members of rugby clubs that are also Eligible Entrants.  Employees of Allianz are encouraged to recommend Eligible Entrants, however these employees will not form a part of the Allianz Future Fund panel and will have no role in the evaluation or selection process.

15. Only one entry may be made per Eligible Entrant. The Promoter will disallow duplicate entries where it finds them. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.

16. Grants shall be awarded at the Promoter’s discretion and if it considers any entrant has acted inappropriately or dishonestly in entering into the competition, it reserves the right to refuse to award any Grant. The winners will be contacted by email by 18th October 2024 (inclusive) and failure to provide accurate contact details may result in disqualification from this competition. If winners cannot be contacted within seven (7) days of sending the email, the Promoter reserves the right to offer that Grant to the next Eligible Entrant selected by the panel.

17. No responsibility is accepted for lost entries, delayed entries, damaged entries, illegible entries, incomplete or mis-transmitted entries.

18. The Promoter reserves the right to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place for the competition.

19. Once the winners have been contacted, the names of the winning clubs will be available on request after 28th October 2024 by emailing futurefund@allianz.co.uk.

20. Winners will participate in all required publicity and the Promoter reserves the right to publish the names and photos of winners in post event publications and on the Promoter’s website and/or social media sites. Winners will reasonably cooperate with all required publicity as a result of winning.

21. If you object to any or all of your details (in accordance with clause 20 above) names, photos and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at futurefund@allianz.co.uk prior to 18 October 2024.

22. Notwithstanding clause 21 above, the winners’ details and winning entries (if applicable) must be provided to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

23. Grants are stated and are subject to availability.  As above, the actual amount of each Grant depends on the number of valid entries received and is reflective of the total prize fund amount available being up to £50,000 for all Grants. In the event of any Grant being unavailable for any reason outside the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. The Promoter is not responsible for the quality of any goods or services supplied.

22. All Grants are non-transferable and there is no cash or other alternative for the Grant. The winner will be liable for all costs and expenses not stated relating to claiming the Grant. Grants may be taxable and the winner will be responsible for any tax arising.

23. All Grants will be provided by 30 November 2024 as long as valid contact details and bank details (in each case) are provided and all due diligence checks are satisfactorily completed and there is no breach of any sanction laws/regulations, anti money laundering laws/regulations or similar.

24. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter further reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the competition where necessary.

25. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. Contact information about entrants is collected by the Promoter in order to contact them about the promotion and to award the Grants.

26. By entering into the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.

27. Full details as to how your data will be processed are as set out in these terms and conditions as well as in our Privacy Notice, which can be found at: Privacy and Legal Notice (allianz.co.uk).

28. No liability and no responsibility (in each case) is accepted by the Promoter, its agents, its distributors or any Allianz UK group company (in each case) for (i) any issues with, (ii) inability to access, (iii) loss of, or (iv) use / non-use (in each case) the Grants.  The Grants are for non-commercial purposes only. 

29. Neither any Allianz UK group company nor the Promoter excludes or limits in any way its liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by any Allianz UK group company’s or the Promoter’s negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

30. We all agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
